Olivia Bartlett
Elections & Events

Betsy Ranslow
Treasurer

Betsy began volunteering in 2016, when Chris VanHollen first ran for the Senate and Jamie Raskin first ran for Congress. There was no turning back. As a Foreign Service “brat,” she strongly believes in appreciating differences and actively defending democratic principles. Betsy joined DTMG because it provided a constructive outlet for her fear and anger, while offering support, friendship, and occasional breaks for plain fun (think s’mores).

Melanie Davis
Canvassing & Events

Biography

Melanie’s been volunteering her evenings and weekends for pro-democracy causes since 2017 and found DTMG along her volunteer journey. By day, she plans  corporate and social events throughout the DMV.  She believes that democracy is participatory and that we all need to “do the most good” to create “a more perfect union” for all of us and the communities we live and work in.

Gwen Stewart
Postcarding

Biography

Gwen was not ready to retire as she loved the people she worked with. Then, in 2017, Trump was harassing immigrants, and her husband and daughter-in-law are immigrants. She found DTMG, an active resistance grassroots organization, and has stayed with them ever since. And, BONUS, she loves working (and playing) with this group. They have given her the guidance to get much more involved in strengthening our democracy. She has definitely bonded with this team.

Eden Durbin
Executive Director

Biography

After picking herself up off the ground and wiping away her tears when Trump won in 2016, Eden became involved in down-ballot politics. By day, she is the Chief of Staff for Delegate Jared Solomon (D-18); by night, she is the Executive Director of DoTheMostGood. Eden believes canvassing is the point of living.
