The DTMG-sponsored Climate Emergency: Montgomery County Responds Town Hall on Saturday September 14th was a resounding success! There was standing room only at the Silver Spring Civic Center as more than 320 people came to hear why Montgomery County Resolution 18-974 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is so important and what county leaders are doing to meet the reduction goals.
We’re happy to announce that Swing Left Rockville has merged with DoTheMostGood. The local Swing Left group will now be known as Swing Left MoCo - DoTheMostGood. Operationally, they will become part of our Elections Team and work to support our mutual mission of flipping red seats blue and electing Democrats across the country. Going forward, anyone who finds and signs up with Swing Left MoCo - DoTheMostGood on the Swing Left website will simultaneously join DTMG.
Our close collaboration with 31st Street Swing Left on Virginia elections makes us very excited about this new integration of a Swing Left group into DTMG.
