DoTheMostGood and Takoma Park Mobilization are co-hosting a free screening of Netflix's award-winning documentary Knock Down the House at the AFI Silver Theater.
The film tells the stories of four progressive women with no prior elected-office experience who decided to run for Congress in 2018.
Following the film, Diane Fink, Executive Director of Emerge Maryland will moderate a panel discussion with State Delegates Lorig Charkoudian, Lily Qi and Jheanelle Wilkins, and activist/former candidate Brandy Brooks, all of whom ran for state or county office in 2018.
A brief reception with refreshments will follow the film and discussion. AFI Silver concessions (food and drink, including wine/beer) will be available before, during, and after the screening.
We thank the generous support of our co-sponsors and cupporters for making this free screening possible in a great movie house.
